Monday, March 30, 2009Undertown Book 2
First of all a big thank you to all of the Undertown fans for your patience. Obviously, book 2 did not come out in November of 2008 as originally planned. There are a number of reasons, but the good news is that the book is 100% complete. I have a finished drawn and lettered version, and I have to say I'm very proud. Jake's art is incredible. And I like the think the story is much better than book 1.
Meanwhile, I'm hard at work on finishing book 3, which may require and even LONGER wait. Please trust me when I say I am doing EVERYTHING I can to make sure that YOU get these books -- this means a LOT to me. If you want to know what you can do to help, please write to Tokyopop and tell them you want more UNDERTOWN. Even better ... please spread the word to your friends. Buy an extra copy and give it to someone you like. Ask your local bookstore to order more copies. If your newspaper doesn't have Undertown in the Sunday comics section, write them and tell them to add it (it's available from Universal Press Syndicate). The more we continue to sell, the sooner you will see all three books. Apparently, Amazon has put up a notification page for book 2. Please sign up to show your support -- it's not a preorder, so it doesn't cost ANYTHING. love, jpp Labels: comics, manga, Tokyopop, Undertown

Having read an advance copy of this I have to say Volume 2 is even better than volume 1, and I loved volume 1.
