Who left the lights on at this place? And more importantly, where the hell did October go?
What? What do you mean it's the middle of November? Yes, I've been busy. Aside from playing with and photographing my new daughter, I've finished all 170 pages of the four Hellboy Animated comics that I was hired to do. The first two Hellboy projects come out in January: the book is called THE BLACK WEDDING, and the short comics that's packaged with the DVD of the animated movie is called "Phantom Limbs." I just saw all of the finished pages for Black Wedding, and I got to say that I was giddy all day. Giddy, do you hear me. Rick Lacy is flat-out AWESOME. The book is a joy to look through. And I think it's an okay Hellboy story too. After the New Year, dash into a Wal*Mart and pick one up -- the big WM ordered more copies of my Hellboy book that the collected total print run of the entire UglyTown catalog. Crazy. No rest for the wicked, though -- I'm working on Book 2 of my original manga series UNDERTOWN. More details, previews, and that kinda stuff in the upcoming weeks (notice I didn't say days ... I'm starting to get the hang of this blog thing). Just maybe ... some new Writers' Tips. Let's hope I get to them before next week's bird gets to me. // posted at

Yay! I was starting to lose hope. Good to see you again.
From our meeting, volume 2 looks VERY promising! I can't wait to read where the story will go!
