New Jim Pascoe Book NOW IN STORES! That's right, kids! Eager for another Jim Pascoe fix? No problem. I'm pleased to announce that my eighth published book is now in stores. It's a novelization of a Disney Channel cartoon called Kim Possible. And while the story isn't mine, I think there's a lot of Jim Pascoe flavor packed inside its brisk 80 pages! What's more -- it's only $3.99! Whether as a gift for that special child in your life or a special gift for your own inner child, please consider supporting my writing by buying a copy of Kim Possible: Killigan's Island!

Long Live the Captain Yes, sadly, Captain Kangaroo is dead. While I was always more of a Fred Rogers kid than a Captain Kangaroo kid, I loved them both. Perhaps my most vivid memory of the Captain was when he was hospitalized almost 20 years ago (I think ... the timing is vague to me). I was so saddened by the thought that the world would be without Captain Kangaroo.

That thought still remains a very sad one.

To the Max I woke up today with the strange feeling that I should try to bring back the phrase "to the max." Like, "I totally wrote nine books to the max!" or "My Robot Friend rocks out robot-style to the max!" or "Mmm, this coffee is hot to the max, and it's like totally waking me up."

I am totally going to do this. Not.

Plastic Art Note to self: read the collected writings of Piet Mondrian and attempt to better understand his concept of neo-plasticism.

A New Year Surfaces, But I Remain Underground I've had absolutely no time to do anything but work on the ETV game I'm doing. The annoucement was made last week by the president of ABC Cable Networks Group Worldwide of the formation of an action/boys programming block called JETIX, which is what I've been working on. My specific project hasn't been announced, so I'm still going to be vague on details. How do you like that business?

I have been meaning to do a January refresh for my home page here, but well, that's looking like it will be the February refresh.

In the meantime, check out my favorite new band: My Robot Friend. On first listen, I really didn't like this CD. One the second listen, I was convinced it was genius.

Regular updates will resume soon. Really. I mean it.
