Thursday, August 05, 2004The Danger of Programmable Coffee
It seems like a great idea, doesn't it? Gabrielle has wanted one ever since I've known her. A programmable coffee maker. Fill it up the night before and -- voila -- fresh coffee in the morning.
Unless you forget to put the coffee pot in the machine. Then you get fresh coffee all over your kitchen. Where's that medicine bottle?

Oh yeah, this I can identify with. I have many time forgotten to place the pot in the machine OR one of the kids has taken it to do something with.
I can tell you that either way, having the coffee to drink or cursing at yourself while cleaning up the mess are both effective ways to start the day.
