It seems like a great idea, doesn't it? Gabrielle has wanted one ever since I've known her. A programmable coffee maker. Fill it up the night before and -- voila -- fresh coffee in the morning.
Unless you forget to put the coffee pot in the machine. Then you get fresh coffee all over your kitchen. Where's that medicine bottle? // posted at

Oh yeah, this I can identify with. I have many time forgotten to place the pot in the machine OR one of the kids has taken it to do something with.
I can tell you that either way, having the coffee to drink or cursing at yourself while cleaning up the mess are both effective ways to start the day.
