The Sound of Backgammon So I get this call yesterday. Hello, I said. "May I speak to Jim?" Speaking, I said. The man paused. "Ah, Jim ... Pascoe." Hmm. Yeah, that's me.
His voice deflated. "I'm sorry, I have the wrong number. I was trying to reach Jim Pascoe the backgammon player." Well, apparently I don't sound like a backgammon player. This makes me incredibly happy, because I am in fact not a backgammon player. Let it be known to all ye foolish folk who googled this site with the wan hope of reaching higher backgammon knowledge: THERE IS NO BACKGAMMON HERE! // posted at
