Stations I'm off on a quick one-day business trip to the Northern California. Some may think it's sad that I look forward to being on a plane because I can get so much work done -- I love to write in public, and an airplane is a wondeful public space. Prior to 9/11, I'd often thought about going to an airport terminal just to write, even if it did cost an arm and a leg to park. Now those days are gone.
Maybe it's time to take the laptop to the train station?
