Deleted/Not Deleted The DELETE key on my lovely PowerBook G4 popped off and refuses to go back on. Do you kind people have any idea at all how frustrating it is to write without a damn DELETE key? I'd rather write without the letter E. Oh sure I've tried delicately putting it back in place and gently tapping out soft delete strokes when necessary. Boing! No good. I've tried to type without the key there, just using the strange clit-like appendage that sticks out from where my loved DELETE key used to be. Denied! It's not the same. I've tried to use only the backspace button instead of DELETE -- that drove me crazier than not using DELETE in the first place. I've even resorted to trying to use the mouse to select my deletions and retype over them. Alas, I have no patience for that.
Perhaps, my only recourse is to abandon all use tof the dELTET key. Just let mistakes mbe mistakes. It's not like this in sis is an application for the White House is ror or something. -- that doesn't make any sense ... like the White House is some glorified error-free institution. Whatever. I'm going back to longhand, people. I'll see you sometime last centryury.
